Black Oats

Oats (Avena sativa) is the most common simple feed for horses. Its extensive use for horse feeding is based on tradition. Oats is a particularly tender cereal, easy to chew and to be digested. It is considered the most safe cereal for its high fiber content and its low digestible energy content. The typical lacks of nutrients associated with a feeding plan based only on cereals as concentrates can be easily balanced by using mineral and vitamin containing supplements and oat balancers rich in lipids and protein.

The oats we trade has specific gravity ranging from 54 to 55 g/l.
