Dehydrated beet pulp

A natural feed coming from sugar beets after the sugar extraction. Traded in form of pellets to prevent alterations during its storage. Sugar beets are rich in dietary fiber mainly composed of hemicelluloses, showing high water holding capacity. The material as traded must be moistened in abundant water for about 2 –4 hours to obtain the optimal water content for the administration to horses. The proper use of this moistened fiber source improve gut function and motility.
